The following men and women were taken into custody by the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
— Mike Sample, 44, of Carson City, a welder, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of West College Parkway for the investigation of a felony probation violation. He is being held without bail.
— Steven Lloyd Parlanti, 23, of Reno, a waiter, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Friday in the first block of Castle Way for the investigation of hit-and-run and a probation violation. He is being held without bail.
— Valarie McCallister, 36, of Carson City, a meat department worker, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Friday at Fifth Street and Edmonds Drive for the investigation of possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $25,000.
— Linda Buzick, 49, a transient, was arrested at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Carson City Sheriff’s Department for the investigation of possession of stolen property and a probation violation. She is being held without bail.
— Stephen Scott Morse, 37, of Carson City, no occupation noted, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of North Carson Street for the investigation of possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $25,000.
