The Whiz Kids of the Children’s Museum is opening its after school program to 8 to 15 year olds.
The club explores life and physical sciences, art, incorporates the Pork Barrel Club (the world of stocks & bonds on the Internet), visiting local businesses and manufacturers, the Rock Kickers, and the Jr. Chef’s Club. Students wanting to learn more about the art of preparing food will enjoy the Chef’s Club. Chef Joe Grant and Kim Mason, Food and Nutrition Specialist, from Carson-Tahoe Hospital will guide students in food preparation.
Students also learn the art of video taping from experts at Carson Access Television.
