LOCAL BLOOD DRIVE

United Blood Services with Miles Construction, in conjunction with Nevada Appeal, Carson Nugget and McDonald’s, is sponsoring a local blood drive at Carson Middle School. There are 11 individuals who have signed up so far. They need 19 more. If I can go and give blood, so can you. I’m scheduled at 10 a.m. and received a nice reminder e-mail from the United Blood Services.

This is a wonderful way to help out someone in serious need. Recently a friend’s daughter who is pregnant needed a blood transfusion to get her back on track. It takes maybe a half hour and so little out of your life to help another. Please sign up.

High Sierra Swing Dance Club – Lov’n Swing

The Wedding Planner starring Jennifer Lopez makes me remember why my father said it was important to know how to dance. If you think you can’t learn, here is a great way to put your best foot forward. Trust me, women enjoy a man who can dance and knows exactly how to move on the floor. It truly speaks volumes. So, if you’re thinking of dancing with your daughter on her wedding day, surprising your wife on Valentines Day. Whatever the reason, you’ll get exercise and meet great people. Check out the dance schedule below or on the website below.
