The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:
Monday: Chef salad with ham and turkey, egg, cheese, red onion and carrot sticks, spring-mix veggies; orange juice; lemon bars; crackers.
Tuesday: Polish sausage, potato wedges, spinach salad, Jell-O with mixed fruit, steak roll, sauerkraut.
Wednesday: Herb-baked chicken, half baked potato with sour cream and chives, herbed-vegetable medley, apple juice, whole-wheat bread with apple butter.
Thursday: Beef stroganoff, egg noodles, peas and carrots, red grapes, chocolate tarts, french bread.
Friday: Poached fish or sandwich, lemon-pepper rice, potato salad, cantaloupe, cookie.
The menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:
Monday: Swedish meatballs over egg noodles, cottage cheese and pineapple, five-way vegetables, pear cup, coconut cream pie.
Tuesday: Barbecued pork sandwich, Waldorf salad, potato rounds, green beans, rice pudding.
Wednesday: Salisbury steak, Caesar salad, au gratin potatoes, green beans, peaches, cookie.
Thursday: Polish sausage, Jell-O with fruit, red potato, sauerkraut, dessert.
Friday: Pork egg rolls, marinated mushrooms, fried rice, sweet-and-sour sauce, apricots, cookie.

Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, peaches, bread with butter.
Tuesday: Beef tips with noodles, green salad, mixed fruit, cookies.
Wednesday: Corn chowder, turkey sandwich, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carrot salad, strawberries.
Thursday: Polish sausage, sauerkraut, peaches, peas, cookies, rye bread.
Friday: Spaghetti with meatballs, spinach salad, zucchini, apple, garlic bread, cake and ice cream.
The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:
Monday: Pepperoni pizza and salad bar, tomato, cucumber, red onion, peaches.
Tuesday: Salisbury steak, potatoes with gravy, cauliflower, mixed fruit, bread with butter, granola bar.
Wednesday: Summer stew, green salad, mandarin oranges, Jell-O.
Thursday: Salmon filet, peas in cream sauce, fresh plum, carrot-raisin salad, bread with butter.
Friday: Spud stuffer with ground beef and cheese, sour cream, carrots, peaches, fruit juice, roll with butter.

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:
Monday: Taco salad with salsa and sour cream, fruit extravaganza.
Tuesday: Grilled turkey, bacon, tomato and cheese sandwich on whole- wheat bread, coleslaw, fresh fruit.
Wednesday: Barbecued chicken, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, pea salad, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: Fisherman’s light cod filet on rice, mixed veggies, whole-wheat roll, Jell-O with fruit.
