Two brush fires from California making for smoky skies in Northern Nevada.
A brush fire in Henry Coe State Park in Morgan Hill has grown to more than 3,000 acres. A spokesman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection says the fire is at zero containment.
The blaze was first reported about 2 p.m. Monday; officials have not yet determined the cause.
Fire crews are also working a 700-acre wildfire amid high temperatures in the Angeles National Forest near Santa Clarita. It is 20 percent contained and may have been started by lightning.
