‘Wild Oats’ sows laughs

Carson Performing Arts at Carson High School presents James McLure’s “Wild Oats” in the Bob Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center.

This western romp follows a traveling actor and his long lost brother in a comedy of mistaken identity filled with villains, Shakespearean “quotations” and a heroine threatened by a run away train.

Performances are Friday night, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Jan. 16 and 23; and 2 p.m. Jan. 24.
