Frances Rae Farley
July 9, 1946 - March 13, 2021
Frances Rae Farley, age 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was born on July 9, 1946 in Oakland, California to Jack and Nelda Stooksberry.
She was a constant caregiver who loved to sew blankets and quilts and created quite the collection for her family to cherish and remember her throughout the years. She had a fascination for tools and projects that would constantly keep her busy; her hands were rarely still.
Frances lived a full life and worked in many industries. She took great pride in her final career as a nanny to her grandchildren Jack and Raelin.
Frances is survived by her two sisters Debbie Stampfli, Jacque Painter and her brother Paul Stooksberry. She has three children Shelly Harris and husband Mark Harris, Nicole Merrin and husband Ron Wilson, and Tim Armstrong and fiancé Crystal Yancey; grandchildren, CJ, Anthony, Andrew, Jack, Raelin, and Sydney. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. In her final words to her family, she wrote.
“Each of you have been a part of my family. I love you now as I always have and always will. Love, Mom and Grandma."
