Beverly Joan Palmer
April 8, 1928 - June 3, 2025
Beverly Joan Palmer passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 3, surrounded by family at her home in Minden.
Beverly was born on April 8, 1928, in Dayton, Ohio, and was a 26-year resident of the Carson Valley.
Beverly lived in Auburn, California before making her home here in Nevada, and was loved by both of her church communities, Hilltop Community and Grace Community.
She and her husband, Jack, also co-managed The King’s Retreat Conference Center in Tahoe City for many years. Beverly enjoyed her time working with Mobile Missionary Assistance Program, and her hobbies which included quilting, writing, canning, and catering. She cherished time with her friends at both Hilltop and Grace and enjoyed mentoring a multitude of people who found her kindness and wisdom invaluable.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Jack (Millard) Palmer, her son David Eugene Palmer, and her brothers Barry and Terry Temple.
She is survived by her two sisters, her four children (Rob Palmer, Karen Troyer, Donna Adcock and Michael Palmer),13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Community Church in Minden on July 19 at 1:00 p.m.
