Raymond Gary Shull

June 16, 1943 - February 1, 2025

On the 1st of February 2025 at 7:50am time stood still. This world said our goodbyes, as Heaven welcomed Raymond Gary Shull home. He had a long, adventurous, meaningful, faith filled, hard working life.

Born to proud parents Raymond and Patricia Shull in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California.

He had one older sibling, sister Patsy. Such a handsome little man with wavy dark hair, chubby cheeks, and the most piercing eyes!

His childhood was full of mischievous moments. His love for animals, amphibians, reptiles, and insects kept him on the run and dirty.

Some of his favorite moments as a teen were spent horseback riding and fishing.

Ray enlisted into the U.S. Army, where he served his nation proud! While in the infantry he earned the E4 rank, and a good conduct medal.

In 1965 Ray seen Patty and said, “that woman is going to be my wife.” They shared a lifetime together of 59 wonderful years!

Ray worked as a golf course grounds keeper, and meat cutter. He dedicated 34 years of his life to N.D.O.T.

Ray and Patty gave life to 6 children Denise, Chris, Kathy, Bette, Robert, and Heather. 6 Grandchildren Brooke, Logan, Jessica, Amanda, Chase, and Ruby. 7 Great Grandchildren Titus, Ryleigh, Miles, Joliee, Ashton, Knox, and Lennon.

Celebration Of Life will be held 3pm at Empire Golf Course in Carson City
on 3/29/2025.
