Petrie Franklin Brown

Petrie Franklin Brown, 88, passed away peacefully Saturday May 3, 2025.
Petrie was born January 29, 1937, in Kirkland, Washington. He is predeceased by his beautiful wife Marguerite. They married in 1957 and enjoyed 54 years together before her death in 2011. He expressed how much he missed her almost every day.
Petrie and Marguerite met in Fairbanks, Alaska. Not too long after they married, while still living in Fairbanks, they started their family. In 1971, they moved their family to Carson City where they and all of their children continued to reside. They established their family business, ABC Heating & Sheet Metal, in 1980. Petrie owned and operated his business successfully for 45 years, the duration of his life. He made lots of friends along the way and was appreciative of his many customers that valued the quality work produced by his company.
Petrie will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He had a big job providing for his large family. He shared his knowledge and experience of heating and sheet metal with his children who some took on as their own profession.
He is survived by his children Jeffrey (Jennifer Vargas) Brown, Joseph Brown, Theresa (Don Gillespie) Conner, Jon (Sheri) Brown, James (Jackie) Brown and Jerome (Amber) Brown; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Petrie requested no memorial services.
