Richard Jay Montague
December 7, 1976 - May 12, 2025
Richard (Rick), a gentle soul, passed in his home on Monday May 12th. Rick’s greatest passion was for animals and worked in pet related organizations during his life. Rick was a lifetime resident of Carson City and graduated from Carson High School. He was working as a handyman when he passed. He deeply loved his rescue dogs Sasha, Willy and Ghazi along with his cat Stripey. He was an avid cyclist and loved riding his Harley as well.
Rick was predeceased by his beloved Mother Carolyn Montague, his beloved Grandmother Corinne Montague and beloved Grandfather Carroll (Murph) Montague. He is survived by his Aunts, numerous Cousins and his best friend Derek.
His wishes were to be cremated, and his ashes spread with those of his beloved dogs.
A private family service will be held later date.
