Courtesy Neil BishopGreat-horned owl "birds of the year," which means they hatched in the spring, line up on a perch in an enclosed outdoor pen at the Wild Animal Infirmary of Nevada in Washoe Valley recently. WAIF will open its gates to the public July 30-31 for its annual open house.
