COURTESYA Chromalloy Nevada company spokeswoman has confirmed that 41 employees were laid off from their Carson City plant Thursday. The jet engine parts manufacturing and repair plant will continue operating with 380 employees.
Chromalloy Nevada, one of Carson City's largest employers, laid off 41 people Thursday, a spokeswoman for the company confirmed. "Chromalloy's Nevada facility experienced a decline in our business," said Cathy Gedvilas. "After a review of the business and industry environment, we announced the reduction of positions to better align our business with the marketplace."
