School officials had a Ground Breaking Ceremony Thursday at the site where the auxiliary gym will be built. Trustees, teachers and students were invited to break ground. From left are Chelle Dalager, Greg Koenig, Matt Hyde, Anne Smith, Mayor Ken Tedford, Hannah Isbister, Jordyn Rogers, Kathryn Whitaker, Carmen Schank, Kevin Lords, Rich Gent, Clay Hendrix, Ron Evan and Superintendent Dr. Sandra Sheldon.
The Churchill County School District Board of Trustees heard concerns from several parents at their Thursday night meeting regarding a busing issue the district that occurred the first two weeks of school.
