Faith isn’t a “one and done” proposition: we’re to live our new lives in his strength.
Some Christians feel Jesus is directing his followers to use political methods to establish his kingdom.
Cooperating with God so he produces his “righteous character” in us should be our lifelong objective.
We’re not to pray solely for the leaders we like (and the demise of those we don’t),
We are capable of doing wonderful things, but we can’t pay for our own waywardness.
We can avoid the dreaded déjà vu and instead repeat behaviors that bring joy to us and others.
Love of God through faith in Jesus enables us to truly care for others, despite their race, political persuasion, or lifestyle.
Let’s help the Ukrainian people get through this disaster and back on their feet.
We are in the midst of a six-week holiday season.
Are we inviting people with one open arm while keeping them at arm’s distance with the other?
We can determine to help those who have been devastated by the words of others, and repair the damage done by our own tongues.
As we observe our Legislature working toward their June deadline with increasing fervor, we might wonder, “Why do we need so many laws?”
