Carson City¹s 10-11-year-old all-star team remained alive in the

championship bracket of the District 1 tournament with a 13-3 victory over

Reno National Sunday at Governors Field.

The win was Carson¹s third of the tournament and second over Reno National.

The game was stopped after four innings because of the 10-run rule.

Jayden DeJoseph went 3-for-4 and also pitched a complete game.

³Jayden pitched well,² said Carson manager Kinkade DeJoseph. ³We played well

defensively, too.²

Jesse Knorzer and Jace Keema had two hits apiece and Tez Allen drove in two

runs. Tommy Gall and Bryce Moyle also hit safely for Carson.

Carson returns to action today at 5:30. The locals need a win to stay alive

for the championship. A loss today would send Carson into the consolation
