CLOVIS, Calif. – Carson High’s girls’ cross-country team improved its time by 90 seconds en route to a 10th-place finish in the seeded race at the Clovis Invitational Saturday at Woodward Park.

“I ran them in the wrong race,” coach Pete Sinnott said. “They’d been running so well that I ran them in the tougher race. If they had run in the large-school race they would have won it.”
