Carson Middle School hoopsters enjoying solid seasons

The Carson Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team kept its perfect season intact with a 31-21 win over Carson Valley.

Ian Schulz led the team with 10 points; Asa Carter added nine points, Cody Acevado scored seven.

Carson is now 13-0 heading into today’s game against South Tahoe. The team also plays Thursday vs. Alder Creek.

The Carson Middle School eighth grade basketball team has won three recent games to run its record to 12-1.

Carson beat Eagle Valley 50-28 behind 23 points from Cameron Price. Kyle Steele and Nolan Shine each added eight points.

In a 51-18 win over Pau Wa Lu, Price scored 17 points, while Shine added nine and Steele added eight.

On Tuesday, Carson defeated Carson Valley 47-23.

Steele led the team with 18 points, while Price added 14. Zach Carrubba scored 6.
