Alumni notebook: How Carson City area athletes are doing in college

FOOTBALL

Asa Carter (Carson, Southwest Baptist University): Had season-best three tackles in 35-7 win over McKendree.

Colby Brown (Carson, College of Idaho): Had seven carries for 19 yards and returned one kick-off for 18 yards in 31-27 loss to S. Oregon.

Joey Thurman (Carson, Williamette): One carry for minus-3 yards in 63-24 win over Puget Sound.

Kevin Rusler (Carson, William Penn): Redshirt.

Jacob Drahos (Carson-Nevada): Redshirt

Logan Krupp (Carson, Western Oregon): Didn’t play according to school web-site in 31-2 loss to Azusa Pacific.

Josh Joyner (Dayton, Western Oregon): Didn’t play according to school web-site in 31-2 los to Azusa Pacific.

Jon Joyner (Dayton, George Fox): Lost 28-23 to Whitworth. Didn’t play.

Adam Domitrovich (Carson, University of Saint Mary): Currently injured.

Melissa Glanzmann (Carson, Treasure Valley CC): Team is 8-5-1. Starting in midfield, had an assist on Tuesday.

Lindy Lehman (Carson, Treasure Valley CC): Starting on defense, no goals or assists in two games last week.

Josilyn Daggs (Carson, Univ. of Idaho): Has 3 shots attempted and two assists in last three matches.

Andrea Maffei (Carson, Siskiyous): Has started all nine games, no goals or assists.

Alondra Mata (Carson, Lake Tahoe CC): 10 games, no goals or assists.

Bailie Zuber (Carson-Peninsula College): Averaging about 60 minutes a contest. Team is 8-1-1.

VOLLEYBALL

Madison Foley (Dayton, University of Nevada): Had 21 kills and 23 digs in wins over Air Force and Boise State last week.

Maddie Jergesen (Carson, Union): Contributed 22 kills and 13 blocks in helping Union to a 2-1 record last week.

Rachel Hadley (Dayton, Montana Tech): Has played in four matches this season.

CROSS COUNTRY

Nathanael Williams (Sierra Lutheran, Col. School of Mines): Finished fifth out of 301 runners at the Chili Pepper Festival, clocking a 24:10.78 for the 8K course. Team won the meet.

SWIMMING

Michelle Harrison (Carson-Iowa Lakes CC): No results on school web-site.

CREW

Terek Been (Carson, Univ. of Toronto): Member of the novice rowing team. The team finished third in first meet.
