Fox sixth in NCAA diving

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Corey Fox, a 1997 Carson High School graduate, took 6th place in platform diving at the NCAA championships last Saturday while competing for Louisiana State University.

The LSU junior improved upon his 13th-place finish from last season by scoring 475.0 points. University of Miami’s Tyce Routson won the even with a 596.10 score. LSU finished 23rd as a team in the swimming and diving championships.

Fox was a two-time state champion as a member of the Senators and broke several records.
