Heberger in position to make finals
Aaron Heberger of the Carson-Douglas Rodeo Club has virtually assured himself a spot in the National High School Finals Rodeo championship go-round in calf roping.
The Galena High graduate posted a time of 13.494 seconds to take fifth in his go-round on Saturday. With just one go-round left to go on Saturday night, Heberger stood eighth overall in the standings at 25.426 seconds. The top 20 advance to today’s championship go-round.
