Wildcats to hold Poker Tournament

The fourth annual “Nevada Wildcats” 13 and under softball team fund-raising Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament will be held on November 15 at the 19th Hole restaurant at Lakeridge Golf Course.

Cost for the no host par event that will feature professional dealers is $100 and includes a $2,000 buy-in. dinner and five drawing tickets. For more information, call Vickie Purcell, (775) 342-9943.

Yerington volleyball rolls against Sparks

The Yerington volleyball team rolled to another win in Northern 3A action, beating Sparks 25-16, 25-12, 25-10 on Wednesday.

Kayla Lommori had 18 kills, three blocks and two aces, Rani Williams had four kills, four digs and an ace, Dama Cox had four kills and two digs, Trinity Thom had three kills and four aces, Kiara Ross had a kill, a bloc, an ace and 30 assists, Courtney Clifton had eight digs and an ace, Brittany Thomas had five digs and Bre Tognoli added two digs and two aces for Yerington.
