On Boxing & Martial Arts: Amateur boxing Saturday in Carson

Another exciting amateur boxing card will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday at Peralta’s Gym, 3579 E. Highway 50 business center building 219.

Carson City Boxing Club is hosting the card that will feature some of the best amateur boxers in Nevada.

Frank Peralta, owner and head coach of Carson City Boxing Club puts on some of the most exciting boxing shows I’ve seen, boxers from all over the state will be competing and some from as far as Sacramento, Calif. If you want to see some great fights and support amateur boxing in Northern Nevada, don’t miss this show.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children younger than 16 and kids younger than 5 are free. Refreshments will be available.

Carson City Boxing Club has been operating since 1995 and has produced some of the top amateur boxers, and pro boxers for many years. The club also has been a great asset to our community in helping area youth.
