Sierra Lutheran’s football team rolled to a 48-6 win last week at Pyramid Lake.

The Falcons took a 21-6 lead after one quarter on two touchdowns by Sean Emm, including a 52-yard scoring run and Quinn Cummings’ score.

Sierra Lutheran extended its lead to 42-6 at halftime. Nathan Waite, Isaiah Jarrett and Rocky DiMartino all scored on the second quarter for the Falcons.

Emm scored his third touchdown to finish the scoring.

Sierra Lutheran volleyball knocks off Pyramid Lake

The Sierra Lutheran volleyball team defeated Pyramid Lake last week, 25-19, 25-11 and 25-18.

Amanda Almeida had four kills, Charis Wheeler had three aces and Rosalie Antonucci and Brie Wiles had three aces and two kills for the Falcons.

“Our freshman and sophomore players played amazing and truly stepped up as two of our girls are out,” Sierra Lutheran coach Naomi DiMartino said.
