Single-game seats for Nevada-Akron sold out

Nevada Appeal staff report

RENO — The University of Nevada athletics department announced on Monday the fifth sellout of the season for the No. 6-ranked Wolf Pack men’s basketball team.

Single-game seating for Nevada’s next home game — against Akron at 4 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center on Saturday — is sold out. That comes on the heels of another sellout crowd — the 10th-largest in school history — in Nevada’s win over South Dakota State on Saturday.

Future games this season against Boise State, UNLV and San Diego State have also already sold out, giving the Pack five sellouts in 2018-19 so far.

There’s availability, however, to watch the Pack against Akron, and the next two home games against Utah State (Jan. 2) and San Jose State (Jan. 9), via the school’s three-game Holiday Pack. The mini-plan is available this week and is $72 for tickets for those three games only. Call 775-348- PACK or visit
