Q: What is your favorite sport and why?

A: My favorite sport is football because I like hanging out with my friends and playing under the lights every Friday.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

A: Dwayne Wade is my favorite athlete because he plays for my favorite team (Miami Heat).

Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at the high school level? Should it be random or should everybody be tested once?

A: I think drug testing is good for athletes. It helps keep them out of trouble. I think random drug testing is better. You never know when you’ll be tested so why take the chance.

Q: If you saw a teammate using drugs or alcohol what would you do? Would you talk to him or report him to the coach?

A: I would talk to him and tell him he needs to stop or let the coaches know.

Q: What sport have you always wanted to, but never did and why?

A: I have always wanted to play baseball. I played Babe Ruth when I was little, but haven’t played in high school because I have focused on football all-year round.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I don’t have a lot of time for hobbies between school and football, but I like hanging out with my friends.

Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: Jersey Shore

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Steak

Q: What is the last non-academic book you read?

A: “Friday Night Lights.”

Q: Who is your favorite musician or group?

A: Gucci Mane

Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: When my Pop Warner team made it to the playoffs in Santa Clara

Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?

A: I plan to attend UNR and major in engineering.
