Capital City VB Club set to offer clinics

Capital City Volleyball Club will host separate clinics for third through sixth graders and middle school girls in November at its facility in Carson City.

The Fundamentals Clinic for third through sixth graders will be held on Wednesday nights during November. Cost is $15 for an individual session or $35 to attend all three sessions.

The Middle School Clinic for sixth through eighth graders will be held on Sunday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 16. Cost is $30 for one session or $50 to attend both sessions. For more information or to register, go to www.capitalcityvbc.com or call 883-3500.

Galena boys tennis rolls to victory

The Galena High boys tennis team rolled to another win on Tuesday, beating Fallon 13-5 at Galena.

In singles, Shane Leeder won 6-0, 6-2, Joey Prescott won 6-0, 6-0, Adam Casey won 6-4 and Graham Harris won 6-1 for Galena. In doubles, Jeremy Grubbs and Kyle Karrasch won 6-0, 6-0, Evan Bender and Nicholas Wesley won 6-1, 6-0 and Mario Casci and Tyson Wright won 6-0, 6-1, 6-0 for the Grizzlies.
