The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is seeking information to identify a check fraud suspect. On July 20, a female suspect cashed a check at a Carson City casino. On Aug. 5, the casino received the check back as a fictitious check and filed a police report. The identification the suspect used was stolen from a victim while at a Carson City gym. The case number is 2021-5222.
