The Carson City Senior Center Advisory Council will offer a Medicare 101 class on Tuesday, followed by a fair with local Medicare Advantage and Supplemental Medicare providers on-site to answer questions about specific plans.

Medicare 101 will be taught by the Access to Healthcare Medicare Assistance program. Attendees can schedule future appointments with MAP for free counseling and plan changes. The event will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Tahoe Tree room (east end of the building) and the fair from noon to 2 p.m. in the Nevada Room at the Senior Center.

Lunch will be served with a suggested donation of $2.25 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees will receive free raffle tickets to win door prizes. Winning tickets will be drawn at the conclusion of the event. RSVPs are not required.
