Book signing
Come meet your favorite local authors on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at His Inspirations,
200 S. Maine St.
This will be an excellent time to purchase a book for a special event, a birthday or Father’s Day.
Authors Bill Slentz, JL Pattison, Steve Ranson, Steve Bond, Leanna Falconer, Nita Barnes and Judy Carlson will be on hand. Each author will have books for sale.

Cantaloupe Festival seeks vendors
The Fallon Cantaloupe Festival is seeking vendors for this year’s event, which is Aug. 27-29 at the Churchill County Fairgrounds.
This will be an excellent venue for vendors to showcase their products.

Cantaloupe Festival king & queen
The Fallon Cantaloupe Festival’s King and Queen Pageant is Thursday at 5 :30 p.m. at the Fallon Theatre.
The Sandlot, a 1993 movie about youthful baseball players, will follow the pageant.
Concessions will be open, and donations will be accepted.
