We are in the Christmas spirit and that means holiday movies and some great special events. We hope you will be able to join us! Remember, all of our movies are free.

Starting the weekend of Nov. 25 and 26, we have two great movies playing both Friday and Saturday evenings. Our first feature each evening, starting at 6 p.m., is the 2012 computer animated adventure film “Rise of the Guardians.” When the evil spirit Pitch launches an assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians (Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Jack Frost) team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world. Voices are provided by Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Jude Law, Isla Fisher and Hugh Jackman.

Our second feature each evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., is the 2003 Christmas-themed romantic comedy “Love Actually.” This film follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London. Starring Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson and Keira Knightley.

Also:

• Please join us right after the annual City of Fallon tree lighting on Dec. 2 as the Lahontan Valley Concert Choir takes our stage to present “The Colors of Christmas.” This is also a free event.

• Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Dec. 21, as we are excited to have the Nashville-based country duo Luke and Kaylee take our stage for a holiday show. Tickets are $20 per person, with 20 percent of ticket sales donated to a local charity.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the performance starting at 7 p.m.
