Patricia Ann (Laird) Kelly
July 22, 1932 - October 18, 2022
Patricia Ann (Laird) Kelly was born July 22, 1932 at Stewart, NV to Earl and Fieatta Laird. She lived in Carson City the majority of her life. Patricia attended elementary and junior high school in Carson City and graduated from Carson High School in 1950.
Patricia worked for the State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS) for 36 years and retired in 1996. She was employed by the Nevada Appeal newspaper as a customer service representative from October 2000 to April 2009. She was a past treasurer of Fremont Elementary School PTA and a past member of Toastmasters. She was a voracious reader and member of a local book club.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Louise (Laird) Pardini, her daughter Kimberly (Kelly) Depoali, her brothers Earl T. Laird and Roger Laird and granddaughter April Leonard.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Stephenson of Carson City, sons Larry Kelly of Minden and Michael Kelly of Reno, brother Ivan Laird and sister Merle (Laird) Howard both of Carson City, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Patricia will be held November 12, 2022 from 1 – 3 pm at La Capital Café and Grill, 1795 E College PKWY, Carson City.
