Errol Jackson Smokey

Errol Jackson Smokey passed away peacefully in Carson City on October 18, 2022.
Errol was born in Schurz, Nevada on September 1, 1953. He was a lifelong resident of the Dresslerville (Washoe) tribal community.
Errol is preceded in death by his parents Flora Snooks Smokey and Carnegie Smokey, Sr. plus brother, Hugh and sisters Charlotte, Norma, and Jeannie.
He is survived by his three brothers in Dresslerville: Carnegie Smokey, Sr., Arnold Smokey, and Eric Smokey and his four sisters: Angie Smokey of Phoenix, Norrine Smokey-Smith of Portland, Adriane Smokey of Tacoma, and Becky Smokey of Dresslerville.
Funeral services were held on October 27th in Dresslerville, and burial was at the Happy Hunting Grounds Cemetery. Remembrances can be sent to Waltons of the Valley Chapel in Carson City.
