Sandra Patricia Moreno Trotter
June 15, 1974 - September 22, 2022
Sandra passed away unexpectedly September 22, 2022.
She was born in Cosamaloapan, Veracruz, Mexico to Victoria Gomes Gallardo and Josafat Moreno Torres of San Andres Tuxtla, Veracruz, Mexico.
Sandra moved to Fallon at 16 in 1991 and worked many different jobs including cleaning, child care and harvesting crops. She learned English and attended Churchill County High School, got her GED and enjoyed attendingWestern Nevada College.
Sandra met her husband, Ben, in 1995 when she waited tables on the night shift at Jerry’s Restaurant and when he got distracted from his workouts to talk to her at the daycare in the old 4-Way-Fitness Center. They married in October 1996 and the marriage ceremony was held June 1997.
Sandra worked many years as personnel manager in the old Walmart and worked for the School District for over fifteen years. She loved Jesus, loved to dance, loved to smile and laugh, took great pride in working hard and helping others and was a wonderful and involved mother of her two daughters, Kyla and Ashby. They were the highlight of her life.
She departed this life far too soon and is sorely missed. She will always be in the hearts of those who knew and respected her and loved the beam of sunshine she brought with her wherever she went.
She is survived by her husband and daughters, her father and mother and her four siblings, Doris and Lourdes (North Carolina), Victoria (Mexico) and Josafat (Texas), as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the Trotter family asks donations be made to Logos Christian Academy of Fallon, NV.
Services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Center,
