Harley B Jobe III

December 12, 1944 - January 9, 2023

Harley B Jobe lll , 77 , a resident of Douglas County for over 30 years, died on January 9th 2023. A husband, father, grandfather and uncle.

Harley was the oldest of three brothers. He was born December 12,1944, In Washington DC .

Harley joined the Air Force in 1966, where he served as a Meteorologist and rose to the level of captain. After his honorable discharge from the military, Harley moved to Minden Nevada. He worked at Bently’s for several years. He met Rochelle Robley at the Pink House in Genoa. Harley and Rochelle joined in marriage and had many adventures together including opening and running Juanita’s Cantina Mexican restaurant. Harley was a master at mixing margaritas and conversing with the patrons.

Harley cultivated strong relationships with Rochelle’s children and grandchildren. His impact on their lives is unmeasurable and profound.

Harley and Rochelle found a beautiful home and moved to this oasis in Kooskia Idaho. They enjoyed their family and friends and the beauty of the land for several years. Harley loved America.

Harley was an avid shooter and he loved old military trucks and history. He enjoyed watching western movies and Fox News.

Harley is survived by his wife Rochelle Jobe and his brother David Jobe, sister in law Janis Jobe and sister in law Robin Jobe. He had one other brother, Barry Jobe, Robin’s Husband who recently passed away. Also, his two nephews and their spouses, Conner and wife Brittney and Brenden and Rylee. He will be greatly missed by those lives he touched.

A service will be held for Harley at 11am on March 3rd at the Veterans Cemetery in Fernley Nevada.
