Joseph “Joe” Jimenez

Joseph (Joe) Jimenez, 67, unexpectedly passed away May 25. Joe as many knew him by was known for his excellent woodworking skills, his dedication to EMS and his devoted love for his family.
Joe was born in La Junta, CO to Daniel and Esther Jimenez. Joe and his family moved to Nevada in 1956. In 1965 Joe and his family settled in Fallon, NV where he attended Churchill County High School. While attending high school he would meet and fall in love with the love of his life Carol. They married July 22, 1978, they would go to have 3 beautiful children. He worked for the City of Fallon for 18 years where he retired in May 2006. Joe served his community by being an EMS instructor for the local college. After his retirement he spent many of his days in his garage working on woodworking, substituting at Churchill County High School and spending the weekends with his family.
Joe is survived by his wife Carol Jimenez (Fallon, NV), daughter Yolanda Kaster (Fallon, NV), son Chris, wife Mallory Jimenez (Round Mountain, NV), daughter Jessica, husband Fred White (Fallon, NV). Grandchildren- Ashlyn, Lyndsey, Hayden, Kinslyn, Gunner and Mason. Sisters- Pamela, Patricia; Brother- Rick and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents Daniel and Esther and brother Carlos. To A celebration of life will be held on July 6 at 11 AM at the Gardens funeral home. Lunch will be held after the services.
