Obituary: Kathryn Rooney Lane

Kathryn Rooney Lane passed away on November 1, 2013 at home with her daughters by her side. She was born in Hobson, Montana to Frank and Mary Jane Rooney. Kay was a kind and loving mother, sister, wife and friend. She was proud to say that she was a “Rosie the Riveter” in Tacoma Washington during WW II. She was also a waitress and a homemaker. She resided in Belgrade, Montana and Carson City most of her adult life.
