Mary Catherine Ainsworth

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother. After a long illness, Mom passed away peacefully at her home in Carson City with her daughter at her bedside. Mom was born in Napier, TN to George W. Scott and Cora Ferguson Scott. She was the youngest of 10 children, and was predeceased by her parents, sisters Margaret Spann and Annie Mae Coley, and six brothers, Alec, Arch, George, Roy, Lloyd and Claude. Mom was a joyful, thoughtful, kind and caring person that was always therefor her family and friends. She could brighten the darkest day.
