Lyon to revisit naming of road after Trump

Lyon County will revisit the naming of Old Dayton Valley Road to Pres. Trump Way after a possible Open Meeting Law violation. The Lyon County Board of Commissioners will address the situation on July 15. On July 1, the commission voted 4-1 to start the process of renaming a street in Dayton.

Health care proposal voted down by Heller and Senate

WASHINGTON — Prodded by President Donald Trump, a bitterly divided Senate voted, at last, Tuesday to move forward with the Republicans’ long-promised legislation to repeal and replace “Obamacare.” There was high drama as Sen. John McCain returned to the Capitol for the first time after being diagnosed with brain cancer to cast a decisive “yes” vote.
