Only a handful of foundations, a few weathered houses, and long-closed businesses remain of the once-thriving railroad town of Wabuska, located about 17 miles north of Yerington.

The most prominent reminder of the existence of the railroad community of Wabuska is the little yellow depot bearing that name that sits at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City.
