The event will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Zephyr Cove Beach. A drawing will be held, with one ticket costing $5 and five tickets costing $20.
Drawing prizes include a one-week stay to anywhere in the world plush $500; a season mid-week pass to Kirkwood; The Ridge Tahoe weekend getaway; and a Harrah's midweek getaway.
All proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club and Douglas County Search and Rescue. Free transportation from Whitell High to Zephyr Cove Beach will be provided.
Hume is attempting a record-setting run more than 150 miles around Tahoe Rim Trail. As of 8 a.m. Saturday, he was past Barker Peak, which was more than 70 miles.
