Cable Access channel to feature holiday programming

On Christmas Day, Carson Access Television will feature local holiday programming on Channel 26, beginning at 7 a.m. The schedule will include the Carson City Symphony "Holiday Treat" concert, the Carson-Tahoe Hospital Auxiliary "Holiday Luncheon, the Boys & Girls Club Christmas program, Silver State Starmakers "Holiday Carols" along with special holiday programs from area churches.

The program lineup will extend over eight hours and be repeated at 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.

In addition to the locally produced programs, Channel 26 will air a special "Eyes of Christmas." The two-hour program is produced for blind or visually impaired viewers with narration of Charles Dickens "Scrooge." The "Eyes of Christmas" will air at 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 p.m. Christmas Eve.
