Staff reports

The following incidents were reported Sunday to the Carson City Sheriff's Department:

-- A 44-year-old man arrested for suspicion of domestic battery at 12:54 a.m. in the 100 block of East Adams Street.

-- A woman said she "had taken a couple of laser hits to the shoulder" coming from under her porch at 2 a.m. in the 200 block of Royal Drive. The call was noted.

-- A 24-year-old woman arrested for suspicion of battery after a fight at 3:12 a.m. at a bar in the 100 block of West Telegraph Street.

-- Dustin Dale McWilliams, 19, arrested for suspicion of marijuana possession at 3:32 a.m. in Voltaire Canyon.

-- Eric Troy Martinson, 34, arrested at 6:06 a.m. in the 300 block of West Seventh Street on a Reno warrant for suspicion of writing bad checks.

-- A man reportedly put a woman's head through a car window, but she was uninjured at 8 a.m. in the 3500 block of Woodside Drive. Police attempted to locate the suspect.

-- A 40-year-old man arrested for suspicion of failing to pay a fine at 9:21 a.m. in the 700 block of Broadleaf Lane.

-- A 37-year-old man arrested for suspicion of failing to appear for a court date at 12:44 p.m. in the 1500 block of Como Street.

-- Assistance given for a truck-motorcycle accident at 2:30 p.m. at Spooner Junction.

-- Reported sexual conduct between a man and a woman at 5 p.m. in a phone booth in front of Smith's grocery store on Highway 50 East. Alert given to patrolling units.

-- A noise complaint at 11 p.m. in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive. Advised and complied.

-- Kurt Rudolph Hans, 32, arrested by Bureau of Indian Affairs officers at 11:31 p.m. for suspicion of using drugs, drug dealing and possession. Hans, from Tahoe City, was arrested after a traffic stop at Curry and Moses streets. His bail was set at $20,000.
