Carson High graduate Clint Treadway is coming off an outstanding season in which he led the University of Redlands football team to a conference title.

Treadway, a 6-3, 245-pound senior, was an offensive tackle this season for Redlands, which went 7-2 and 5-0 to win its second straight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title. Treadway was a two-time all-conference first team selection and was a preseason All-America choice this year. He was also a team captain and the team's most outstanding offensive lineman this season.

Treadway was a three-year starter and played on three conference title teams.

"Clint has been one of the best offensive tackles that I have every coached," Redlands offensive line coach Keith Pebley said. "He always has been a team leader. We will miss the contribution that Clint has given our program."

The extent of Clint's contribution to this football program is hard to put into words," head coach Mike Maynard said. "His exceptional leadership was punctuated with a positive attitude, aggressive style and relentless hustle. In every way, Clint has been a coach's dream.

"He proved himself to be one of the best offensive linemen in the conference. He leaves a standard of performance for which our youngest players can aspire to achieve. We will greatly miss Clint."
