Carson-Tahoe Hospital and a Carson City business have teamed up to provide a video lending library for patients.
Pat Conroy of Video Madness donated videos to the library, which was started with seed money from a memorial fund in the name of Ruth Gotelli, a volunteer who died in 1998.
The hospital upgraded its television system and installed videocassette recorders in patient rooms in 1998 through a donation from Bill and Jeana Burnaugh.
The Gotelli-Burnaugh Video Lending Library was unveiled last week by the Carson-Tahoe Hospital Foundation. It has more than 50 videos available free to patients, who may call and request a movie be delivered to their room by a hospital volunteer.
