The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada will feature a special program "Making Edible Igneous and Metamorphic Rocks." The program is scheduled for 10:30-11:45 a.m., Aug. 12 at the museum, which is located at 813 N. Carson St. Space is limited to 25 children, 6-14 years. Early sign-ups are recommended. This program is free with admission to the museum.
