DAYTON - The Dayton Cemetery Board will meet at 1 p.m. today to discuss rules and regulations for the community's historic cemetery.
Lyon County Building and Grounds Manager Jack Mosby urges those interested in discussing the guidelines regarding the decoration of grave sites, visiting hours, burial cost to attend the meeting.
Following several recent misunderstandings between mourners and administrators of the local cemetery, Mosby has been working with county cemetery boards to establish uniform standards and enforcement procedures for each of the county's six cemeteries.
The meeting will be in the Dayton Utilities Building, Lakes Boulevard. Call 577-5030, ext. 14.
