The Dayton High School Booster Club elected a new board of directors for the coming school year. This year's board is made up of Tim Jones, president; Julie Kepler, vice president; Diane Buttner, treasurer; Paula Rickmann, secretary and Bob Nylen, public relations.

The Dayton Booster Club is organized to assist the high school staff by helping to raise funds and provide support for school events, sports teams and school clubs.

The booster club is sponsoring a back-to-school membership drive with a $5 discount available through Sept. 16. The membership discount for single membership is $15 and family is $25. Membership fees will go up after Sept. 16 to $20 for a single and $30 for a family.

The next meeting of the booster club is scheduled for Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Dayton High School library. The meeting is open to the public and interested people are encouraged to attend.
