The Quicksilver Agility Club will host its fourth High Sierra Summer Classic Dog Agility Trial will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 12 and 13 at Fuji Park.

More than 100 competitors and their dogs from Nevada, California, Oregon, Utah and Washington are expected to attend this North American Dog Agility Council and Australian Shepherd Club of America sanctioned event being held in two dog rings.

Dog agility is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Dogs and their owners race against the clock over a course of jumps, tunnels, weave poles, A-frames, dog walks and more. The dogs are grouped according to their level of ability and size with "veteran" dogs over the age of 7 given a few more seconds to complete a qualifying score.
