Monthly meetings for the Douglas County Democrats will be held regularly on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., upstairs at Sharkey's Casino on Highway 395 in Gardnerville.
"If you are new to the county and want to participate in state politics, now is the time to get involved" said Gail Turle, local Democratic Party chairperson.
